Final part in William Finck’s excellent series looking at how Christianity was expressed in Hitler’s Germany.

Hate for the enemies of God is righteous and to be encouraged.

God himself hates a profane man and a fornicator or race-mixer.

Hatred is the mechanism by which we defend what we love. It is normal and godly when we have hatred for that which God hates.

Christians cannot hate their brethren, but are obligated to hate what God hates.

Christian customs and morals are the customs and morals of the White race, to attack them means to attack the very foundations of Western law and order.

Cajus Fabricius confirms that the churches in Weimar Germany had been discouraged from preaching against immorality.

However Hitler never blamed the churches themselves for this, but blamed the Jewish attacks on Christianity instead.

Explicit quotes on this subject are used from Mein Kampf, along with readings from Fabricius’ book, Positive Christianity in the Third Reich.

Continuing William Finck’s series based around Cajus Fabricius’ book ‘Positive Christianity in the Third Reich’

The Christian Bible demands that we honour our family and nation by raising faithful children, that are aware of the heritage they have received from their ancestors.

Going on to have children themselves that are not mongrels, but are made in the image of god.

Heinrich Himmler’s instructions for the family do not contradict Christian teaching at all.

The churches may use language that appears Christian, but much of it completely contradicts the Bible.

The National Socialists were true Christians whether they knew it or not by their actions, but you could not say the same for the German churches.

Hitler knew that the teaching on morals from the church was correct, but that their universalist dogma was contrary to the health of the people.

However none of this universality can be blamed on true Christianity or the Bible.

The second part of Cajus Fabricius’ book on Positive Christianity is entitled ‘The Christian Foundations of National Socialism’

William Finck points some of these foundations out, such as brotherly love, being made in the image of God and dominion over the world.

Never in the history of nations has there been movement like this, that has been so close to the spirit of Biblical Christianity.

Based on individual self denial, but not on national self denial.

National Socialism was Christianity in action, instead of just being hollow words.

For ‘faith without works is dead.’

Continuing the presentation of Cajus Fabricius’ book ‘Positive Christianity in the Third Reich’

Positive Christianity was a practical Christianity, which was seen as Christianity in actual practice, rather than just in words.

Real Christianity is not practiced in a church, however before books were available, the church was the only place where instruction in Christian morality could be found.

It is this dissemination of Christian morality that Hitler saw as being the most important role of the church.

The National Socialist movement made war on all those parties who would degrade the church into merely being an instrument for a party’s interests.

The Positive Christianity of National Socialism was an earnest endeavour to practice what Caius Fabricius called ‘the real thing.’

Christogenea

The second part of Bill’s series on Positive Christianity deals with the issue of “paganism” in the Third Reich, the Allied propaganda about National Socialism being somehow anti-Christian (yeah right), as well as who was Friedrich Nietzsche’s inspiration. Could Nietzsche have been inspired by a Jew named Baruch Spinoza?

Nietzsche – He hated Christ, liked the Jews and condemned anti-Jewish behaviour, yet this man is an inspiration for some so-called National Socialists? Some people have no idea…
